Description
A massive Triarthrus measuring 4.9 cm including antennae, with a beautiful 1.3 cm dorsal specimen with exceptional legs & antennae in close association. Triarthrus eatoni measuring over 2 cm are extremely rare. Specimens approaching 4-5 cm represent the spec its maximum size range. The large specimen is highly pyritized with incredibly detailed antennae and nicely centered on the matrix. As T. eatoni exceeds 3 cm in length, the species increases not only in length but also in width. The increased width then to completely hide the legs beneath the carapace. The smaller dorsal to the right is also well preserved showing exceptional preservation of antennae and many legs, with one oval egg visible on the left free cheek. This is one of the largest Triarthrus dorsals we have ever seen.
