Description
A large 6.1 cm Olenellus gilberti trilobite from the Delamar Expanse, Lower Cambrian, Nevada. The attractive orange specimen sits on a natural block covered with iron-manganese dendrites and other Olenellus pieces and parts. Tiny tubes structures are clearly preserved on this specimen. These “hero” specimens as these larger examples on natural dendrite covered plates are referred to, are dwindling in availability.
