–
An outstanding example of the usually diminutive species Bolaspidella housensis. This beautiful red specimen is perfect and very large for the species, measuring 1.6 cm. The eyes on this specimen are very tall in periscope fashion, along with a full rack of standing axial spines running the length of the trilobite. The exoskeleton is very well preserved showing the granular surface the genus is so well known for. It is unlikely we will see another specimen of this quality.
