Description
A classic Asaphiscus wheeleri trilobite from the “Pierson Cove” Formaton. The So-called Pierson Cove is a mix or Wheeler and Marjum Formation units with some interesting preservational characterstics. This specimen is good size with gray exoskelton covering a reddish, iron core that pokes through here and there. The contrast with the light beige and orange matrix makes for a great display piece.
