Olenellus gilberti on banded matrix OUT OF STOCK

A spectacular example of a Lower Cambrian Olenellus trilobite.  This specimen is pure perfection featuring an extremely long telson or pygidial spine.  The matrix is adorned with orange banded patterns, which likely have lent their color to the trilobite. Dendrite crystal formations hug the edges of the matrix.  Expertly outlined for maximum contrast makes this specimen stand out.  One is hard pressed to find a finer example of this classic American trilobite species from the Lower Cambrian.
