Description

Collected in the 1960’s or ’70’s, this is the nicest example of Flexicalymene ouzregi we’ve seen. ย Normally these trilobites are seen in very poor condition in all states of damage and disarticulation. ย This 5.1cm was recently released from a North American academic collection. ย The trilobite is fully inflated featuring a natural dark orange and brown color. ย The nodule features both part and counterpart, with radiating colorful liesegang rings (banded patterns) around the trilobite. ย Zero paint or restoration. ย  This is a definitive example for this species.
