Huge 8.2cm Teresellus goldfieldensis Trilobite – Double OUT OF STOCK

An outstanding, large double specimen of from the Lower Cambrian of Nevada.  Specimens of this quality and size are extremely difficult to obtain.  The matrix from this locality is unique, having the in-hand quality of pumice-very light weight and porous-although the rock was originally siltstone with excessive dissolution of calcites and limonite staining, accounting for the myriad of colors.  Both trilobites are complete, with long telsons.  A third very small trilobite, likely the ptychoparid Polliaxis hanseni,  sits on the lower left of the larger Teresellus thorax. Exceptional piece!
