Description
An extremely rare 2.4 cm Peachella iddingsi trilobite from the Lower Cambrian Carrara Formation of California. Peachella iddingsi is one of the most iconic, rare and desirable Early Cambrian trilobites. This stunning olenellid features a broad, rounded cephalon and dramatic inflated, bulb-like genal spines that give it a truly bizarre appearance. This specimen is complete including heavily mineralized genal and macropleural spines, tight thorax and most incredibly a faint but present opistothorax. High-quality, complete specimens of Peachella are always in high demand. A standout addition to any serious trilobite collection.
