Description

Specimens of this typically small species are generally poorly preserved, poorly prepared and overlooked. ย It’s a shame as while diminutive in size, this species is one of the most ornamented and spiny trilobites of the Middle Cambrian. ย Red specimens like this, collected in previous decades, are spectacular. ย This Bolaspidella is very well preserved with long axial spines and deep orange and red color.

While we currently have several excellent examples of these Bolaspidella in stock, they are likely not coming back for sometime.
