Description

Incredible Triarthrus eatoni trilobite preserved in vivid pyrite with legs, antennae and one egg poking through the head shield.  This individual has stunning antennae, both very well preserved showing near perfect segmentation and swept to the left of the cephalon.  One cephalic appendage is resting on top of the lower antennae as it curves tightly along the cephalic border, where a small break occurred before fossilization.  Well preserved legs run down the side of the thorax, with many tangled up and crossed over one another.  Perhaps the highlight of this specimen is a robust, inflated egg just beneath the surface of the glabella clearly visible.
