Description
An absolutely stunning lateral Triarthrus trilobite. The larger 1.7cm specimens shows ncredible features of preservation are often increased when trilobites are preserved in unusual positions. In this case the extreme sideways orientation of this specimen has led to one of the most dramatic appendage pileups. The legs are swept back causing stacking to the rear of the thorax. The pygidia appendages in this case are nothing short of amazing. Several eggs can be seen splayed across the cephalic border as well.
