Pieces like this Olenellus only become available occasionally. This perfect, colorful specimen sits just offset from center. It features excellent preservation and the highly desirable long tail spine or telson. The matrix the trilobite is situated on is truly a work of natural art. Large growths of iron/manganese dendrites perfectly complimenting the fossil. A modern plant root has also impressed its pattern on the matrix to the lower right of the trilobite. Stunning specimen!
