This is the finest example of this rarely seen species we have seen to date. From the Chisholm Shale of Nevada, this species is noted for its large cephalic field and nearly wrap-around genal spines. This larger specimen measures 3.6cm, and is complete with a small button-like pygidium. Wrinkly terrace lines adorn the cephalon. Amacephalus of this size and quality from Nevada are not likely to be available in the future.
