Beautiful green tint Olenellus sp. OUT OF STOCK

An unusual Olenellus with natural green color from the Delamar Mountain range in Nevada.  Collected some 30 years ago, this specimen is large, measuring 5.5 cm long.  Situated on a reddish orange matrix with dendrite crystal growths, the natural green color of the trilobite is subtle but very attractive.  This specimen shares morphological features of both Olenellus terminatus and Olenellus gilberti, with short genal spines and long, sweeping pleural spines and wider cephalon and thorax.  On the far edge of the eastern-most portions of this unit, the species often diverge from their textbook descriptions.
