Description
Absolutely perfect 4.6 cm Olenellus gilberti from the Great Basin of the Western United States. This specimen is very aesthetic situated on a beautiful, thick matrix with countless bursts of dendritic crystal growths. The trilobite is perfectly extended with its highly sought after long telson (tail spine). A second, partial Olenellus gilberti is present on the plate as well. One is hard pressed to find a finer specimen of this species especially in the 2 inch range.
