Description
Extremely well preserved red Elrathia kingii trilobite multiple plate from the Wheeler Shale of Utah. One perfect specimen sits to the far right of the plate. The trilobites are situated on a pink matrix dotted with pellet-like structures that have been interpreted as possible algal masses.
These specimens were readily available throughout the 80’s and 90’s but have become increasingly difficult to acquire. They are sought after for their exceptional preservation and display qualities.
