Description

Specimens of this typically small species are generally poorly preserved, poorly prepared and overlooked. ย It’s a shame as while diminutive in size, this species is one of the most ornamented and spiny trilobites of the Middle Cambrian. ย Red specimens like this, collected in previous decades, are spectacular. ย This Bolaspidella is very well preserved with long axial spines and deep orange and red color. ย One of the best specimens we’ve seen.
